He saw the need for it and made it happen. We called Ryan and the next day he whisked us away to an afternoon of Montevideo area wineries. We sampled many wines, met with the owners of wineries, enjoyed delicious foods to accompany the wines, and learned so much. Memorable? yes- beyond that actually. Ryan is quite the guide. “Hello Ryan,Thank you so much for arranging an absolutely incredible wine tour for us in Uruguay on Thursday. It was without a doubt the best winery experience any of us has ever had!!!! Carlos was great fun, and so interesting to talk to. He even took us on a tour along the coast after our wine tour,which was awesome! None of us had ever before had the experience of actually sitting down with the winemaker, sampling wines, and learning first-hand about how their winery is run. We truly appreciated the personalized experience –it was fascinating talking to Margarita, and learning about her family`s business. And having Jorge explain all the wines personally was also a unique experience. The lunch was fantastic! And the quality of all the wines that we sampled were just wonderful. We will write up a recommendation on Trip Advisor when we return home. Thank you so much for making our time in Uruguay so memorable! It was truly the highlight of our trip!
