Sample Itinerary
We’ll pick you up from your hotel and set off from Santiago around 9:00 in the morning, heading towards Valle de Casablanca, a 45-60 minutes drive.
- Our first stop take us to Bodegas RE; a small family vineyard, formed after a long career in wine by Pablo Morand and his children.
- Pablo is the 9th generation of the first Morand who planted vines in Peaflor. In the 2008 season they constructed the wine cellar
- This is a concept of wines with unique character
- Next we continue to Vina Quintay. A group of friends from Casablanca gathered together in 2005 to form Via Quintay in order to produce the best Sauvignon Blanc in the valley. This was followed began by other varieties like Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Syrah from the valley of Casablanca – all of extraordinary quality.
Their philosophy is that aromas and flavors reflected in their wines are originated and developed in the vineyard. They therefore take special care of every detail and manage the vineyards in a way that is environment friendly, avoiding intervention and extracting their full potential naturally.
Here we are going to compare wines from the tanks and barrel to understand the terroir of Casablanca.
- Finally you will enjoy a great Gourmet Tasting Lunch paired with great wines in Casa del Vino; a stylish restaurant that belongs to Bodega Morand with a very charming country setting. Felipe Espinosa is a chef who has succeeded in combining state-of-the-art techniques with local products, developing an elegant cuisine with pronounced flavors.
- You will visit 3 wineries and enjoy a Gourmet Lunch paired with wines
- Our groups are small between 2 – 8 people, an appropriate size to maintain the level almost like a private tour.
