It is a blend of 65% Cabernet Sauvignon 20% Merlot and 15% Cabernet Franc.

CHÂTEAU KIRWAN 2003, MARGAUX, FRANCE
This wine is a blend of 40% Cabernet Sauvignon 30% Merlot 20% Cabernet Franc 10% Petit Verdot. It spent 22 months in French oak barrels with 60% being new. It is very dense brick red in color with aromas of complex forest fruits, black plums, cedar, leather, licorice, cassis and spice. It is medium-full bodied with excellent extraction of fruit and color and perfect balance between acidity and alcohol reacts beautifully in the mouth releasing even more esters, and is rounded off with ripe sweet tannins. COBOS MALBEC 2007, MENDOZA
Cobos is a project owned by famous American winemaker Paul Hobbs, Andrea Marchiori and Luis Barraud The three of them have created a Real Superstar and Wine of International Recognition. The grapes come from a parcel of vines over 50 years old, in the district of Perdriel. They are very small and have high fruit concentration with expressive and complex aromas, deep color and intensity. Aged in 100% new French oak barrels for 18 months with excellent structure, body, finesse and complexity. This is a blend of 91% Malbec 6% Cabernet Sauvignon 3% Syrah and the wine has spent 8 months in French and American oak barrels with 22% being new. It has aromas of black and red fruits with sensual nuances of leather, spice and hints of chocolate. Extremely Opulent, seductive and fruity with juicy tannins and exotic notes of ginger and white pepper come through on the palate to mingle with firm tannins and notes of oak on the finish. Ernesto Catena has done an amazing job with this mysterious superstar. The varietals have not been revealed, but we do know that it is part of a blend and sourced from different vineyards in Mendoza.
